Post by: matthg40 on August 31, 2014, 03:02:20 pm
Hi guys I have the most random question so please don't laugh when you read this.ive tried to get the scratches ou of my black g paint code l041 but the t cut seems to make a right mess.it smeers and leaves a greasy stain on the paint.onviously Im going to polish after I'm abit of a geek when it comes to polishing I spend a good day doing it.im just struggling to get the t cut to remove the scratches without leaving a mess.has anyone else had the same problem?many thanks Matt

Just get a machine polisher on it with a hard pad with a fine cutting compound
Meguiars #105 works a treat.

To get rid of that greasy residue, either spray IPA and wipe off.
Or try some regular detailing spray, and wipe off.
Otherwise detailingworld.co.uk has unbelievable amount of info.
