Title: Too worn PSD pulley?
Post by: Jezza-7 on April 22, 2014, 06:29:08 pm
Took it off the other day and i thought it looks like its a little worn. Has done about 30k and always correct belts used.

Any opinions?

There ally pulleys. These are phase 1 PSD pulleys i believe.

May have to get some steels ones.

I think your belt has been too tight - mine have half that mileage but totally unmarked. The anodising is a little shinier where the belt runs. Mine are tensioned like a cambelt i.e. able to get 90 degree twist on the longest run.

I have run the same though for belt tightness.

If your are the anodised ones they wont wear as quick as these ones.

Fair doos. Steel ones should last forever.

Yeah maybe its time to get steel ones. Or just wait for an anodised set to pop up, but that could be a while.

Steel ones are mega heavy...need to see about chopping some holes into them.  Balanced of course!
