Spotted by my brother in Looms scrapyard yesterday minus it's running gear and interior. Wonder who pilfered it all?
Reckons there was nothing wrong with the shell :'(

Man that's a serious waste :'(

Shell was totally solid a year ago when I sold it, battery tray was the only iffy bit really but not a major problem. I agree, it's a waste.

Did you take a good look ? The sills on both sides were rotten were it had been jacked up on the unstrengthened sections, there was a hole in the floor on the passengers side front foot well, there passengers side sill had rusted right through about 12inches long, and the rear sections of the sills were rotten also

that'll be the story on pretty much most of the old polo's. The shell had seen some miles, but it was a top colour and had alot of history as a G, mag featured back in the day.
Shame but alas, what is the lump living in now?

Handed to the right person...
My mate with no welding skill or metal work restored his mk1 golf to show condition, New arches, floors, sills, rear panel
A few rust holes isnt much
