Note most older cars (polo's included) dont have any adjustment on the hinges and only a little bit on the catch
you might get lucky and it fit perfect. but i highly doubt it. be prepared to use a lump hammer and a block off wood to beat the mounting hinges on the body around to get it to sit right, and possibly need to adjust the wing
you may end up taking the door on and off multiple times trying to find where it sits perfect
fitted an old fiesta door once and it was so far out i thought it was the wrong door!
