Post by: spooneyg40 on March 20, 2013, 08:35:52 PM
got a little problem with the rubber grommet on the accelerator cable, where is attaches and sits between the v shape mount bracket, it keeps popping out when im driving, any tips on how to keep the bugger in there?

probably means it's worn out.  You can try bending the metal prongs of the holder a bit but the real fix is a new accelerator cable.  Check that your engine mounts are OK too, if they're worn then the engine can drop a bit and this grommet keeps popping out.  Also check that the metal holder isnt bent.

I believe G accelerator cables are obsolete too.
