The H&R cup kit that Tez is selling is gone.

I dont know where all the hate for HnR kits has come from of recent months. I still rate them as one of the best kits I have had on the Polo and I've ran PhilJ's, Spax, KW's, HnRs, FK Coilies.

I found the HnRs and KW's near comparable, and were the favoured for day to day use. I've used them over thousands of miles around Britan and Europes roads (from virgin black tarmac, to potholed almost pre-war roads of Eastern Europe and Serbia.

There is no specific hating here of the HnR kit. Just for the price it is new now, its quality and reliablity its not that great.

It gets rated as the best out there, but in reality it isn't.

I had up until this weekend two cars which ran the kit and i was replacing them. Fine if you drive on smooth roads eveyday and take it on the track all the time, as a budget kit, but in my old age i like a little comfort.

Just picked up a mk2 with a early phil J budget kit on and in the few miles i have driven it, its on par, if not better than the car it replaced, G40 with a cup kit on.... price wise cup kits are near £400 budget kit near £100.... Not as good as an early FK budget coilover kit i have ion the Derby either

second hand they might be worth it, but new, i think there are better out there, thats all
