Got a charger needing to get rid its all there except the shaft is worn what's it worth anyone want it? Cheers

Worth getting the shaft sleeved or Metal Sprayed? Precision Engines would give you some idea. Maybe Pete G40 is the man to ask if that's feasible.

No needing it John g40 Ownership has come to a end :-\ with working away alot she was giving up on me so swapped her for a boat ha bought a leon cupra fr too But wrote it of 10 days later :(

Also it has psd 15 engraved on it I'm guessing full blend

Swapped for a boat eh? Strangely enough, that was on my mind as well. LOL What sort of money for the charger and I might be interested.

Total cost of a shaft re-furb and service kit (assuming all else ok) probably won't make any sense for me but might for you Pete. Just wonder if the shaft is fubar or is it collapsed bearings, then I might be up for it as I haven't been inside a charger yet.

most shafts have some wear but the new seals with new springs usually makes up for it.

its a stock charger.

the shaft doesn't look too bad.

However the faces where the apex seals touch should be shiny... it could be dirt,but if its corrosion on the scroll and cases its the death knoll for chargers.

no - psd did more than just full blend.  i had one just serviced withe them..

price depends on corrosion - i cant tell condition from the photos tbh
