as above,
im doing a carb turbo conversion on my mk2.
the carb im using is a solex from a renault 5 turbo.

anything more readily available i can use? and do i NEEd the lines?
cheers
is there anyone on here that knows tommo personally and wouldnt mind asking what fuel pump he ran on his old carbd turbo motor?
says he hasnt been on here in quite some time! taa
why don't you see witch fuel pump the renault 5 turbo boys use?
because finding ne that isnt scene taxed and then wiring it up will be effort ha
was hoping theres something aftermarket such as a facet pump that i could use
Not exactly expensive or hard to find... http://bit.ly/13sOsGj

admittedly i hadnt looked into them much, i was just advised to use a polo pump ect. i will keep an eye on that one
as for not being a good idea, it probably isnt, but ah well, itl be a laugh!
tbh i probably havent been as clear as i perhaps should have
i already have a facet pump wired in my bay, but its for bike carbs so obviously very low pressure in comparison to what i need. i was looking for something which i could pretty much just replace that with
without starting a new topic, does it matter where on my downpipe i weld a lambda boss for my wideband?
