Post by: kirsty on January 10, 2013, 12:25:06 PM
Hi

Could anyone please give me some advise on how to remove a gearbox from a VW polo 2001 Diesel?

Any help or link would be much appreciated :)

Thank you

remove everything off the box and pull it off.

the question is best asked on clubpolo or uk-polos.net as this site is aimed at primarily G40's

a haynes manual for a mk4 (1994-1999) polo would probably be a big help assuming they never made a manual for a mk5.  As long as that one covers the diesel which I'd imagine it would.

They have made one for a 6n2 but doesnt cover the diesel model.
