Title: Lambda issues
Post by: dekerf1996 on December 18, 2012, 10:45:51 AM
Morning,

After a bit of help with my lambda sensor.

Phil J recently diagnosed a faulty one on my car, co got a Bosch one (had a NGK one before) and there doesn't seem to be any improvement :-(

Now this suggest to me that there could be a problem with the wiring loom (as when disconnected it runs ok ish, as you would expect)

Does anyone know which pin on the loom going into the car, or ecu depending on where it goes so i can check continuity please and work out if its wiring?

Otherwise any way to check a Lambda?

Or is it a case to swap a know good one in and see what happens?

Or is there another issue that can give same issues?

Thanks in advance

Take it back to the original diagnostician for further analysis.

the haynes manual has the wiring diagrams in it, including which pins on connectors you need to be looking at etc...  you can either buy this or there's dodgy PDF copies floating about on torrent sites and stuff.

Thanks, i have a number of copies of the haynes manual, so will look it up.

Thought there was a guide on here with it too
