Well im going for a bilstein b12 kit now. I did want the coilovers but there is no need for me now. I never had them fitted to me car but i think they are ok and not too harsh. Im sure someone has used them and can comment?

Well I have a set of these coilovers and I also have two sets of the H n R cup kit.

Depends on how you drive and what you want from the kit. I don't run the coilover that low and think they are on comparison to the cup kit.

However on one of my cars the cup kit is set at 60/60 on a mk3 G40 with poly bushes and rose joints throughout, and its harsher than than the same kit on a mk2 GT at 60/40 with just poly bushes throughout.

It depends how you drive your can and if you want the adjustiblity of coilovers. I think they are good, not too harsh and have the adjustibility, which was key for me on one of my cars. The cup kit, on the other hand, i think the rears sit at the wrong height, either you want the car really low, or at 50mm, which it doesn't do either!!!

That is one thing i am worried about with fixed adjustment, is that they never sit right. i dont want lows, i just want a decent wheel arch gap and a bit more of a firmer ride. the adjustable height is pretty helpfull, if i do go to shows i may slam it (but very rarely) the car will be used as my daily, no track days. just driven very hard now and again on the lovely uk roads we have :)
