Title: Py camshaft part numbers/identification markings.
Post by: randombadger69 on September 12, 2012, 01:18:25 PM
After some info if anyone can help. Basically got two camshafts out of py engines. Both have different markings. From looking at them both the inlet and exhaust profiles look dramatically different to each other, which makes me assume they are both supercharged application. One has a VAG stamp and also has the markings 030 B and WTR1. The other (which came from Quinnys old Capri green G) is marked wwo 3c and 030 2e. Although didn't spot a VAG stamp on it. Any help on this would be appreciated, need to know for Alisons heart.

Thanks

Andy

030B is a PY cam.
030E is an AAV/MH one.

Ah this explains it, the one out of Quinnys old G would have been stock and the one in the conversion must have been the AAV. Another reason it ran like shit!

Thanks for the info dude! 8)
