I haven't been able to check the photos yet as I've not been at a proper computer!
Good luck with the sale, sounds like a gem and it's a shame that your having to move onto an automatic.
Have you got pictures from it's past, like when it was new and you collected it?

Very smart indeed Victoria, but if you don't mind my saying, a bit of a spruce up under the bonnet will help with a sale. Good luck though and hold out for the right money.
Thanks very much Scots John, your input is constructive and much appreciated.
Must admit I am rubbish regarding the innards of my 'baby'. My late partner was very much in the 'if you don't understand, leave it to the experts' school and was totally against steam cleaning the engines. Could I ask, John, who do you suggest I might approach for sprucing up under the bonnet? She is having her MOT next week, is it the kind of job for my garage, or my valeter, or are there specific autoservices providers for this type of cleaning?
I have had some warm support from Paul and other Members, although I am upset at having to lose her, it has been a positive experience.
Thanks again
Victoria
Your valeter could make a big differance for not a lot of money, but why not complete your ownership experience with a visit to Halfords and a bit of "all my own work". Having done that, you'll probably keep your pride and joy.
Thanks for your advice. Hopefully I will be able to achieve a slicker result and will post the photos. Nothing would please me more than being able to work towards the whole experience.....it would be great. Unfortunately, because of a 'dickie' left knee, I have been advised to drive an automatic, hence I cannot keep her.
