Hey guys just a quick question does anybody have/use the etka software Vw use If so where did you get it from I've just looked on eBay and there's so many versions I don't no which one to buy thanks all

newer versions will have newer cars in.  I think I had version 6.something.  Any version will have mk3 polos in.

be aware that almost all versions will require updating which means you cant use them unless you update to the newest verison i had 5. somthing on my computer worked fine but wouldonly run in windows xp when they brought out 6 i had to update and now it wont run atall. and for the record there are numerous updates which require somone with a valid licence to send you them this is why i now just use vag cat as its easier and quicker

to be honest I just use Vagcat too.  I cant remember the last time I actually loaded ETKA, it's a pain since I have to start it up in a Virtualbox VM.  I also have the Volvo equivalent of etka in there too.

Haha this is why i kept my old PC instead of binning it! I have version 6 and it won't work on anything Windows Vista onwards . Remember that Vagcat is a hand typed copy of ETKA, there are typo errors!!

got a couple of different versions on disk here,could lend it out if somone locally wanted to install it
