would any one be able to supply me with any pics of a standard charger and a ported charger i.e r1 or full blend. Just for my own searches in getting to know the ins and outs of the chargers and also just so i can see what the difference is between the two.

two outlets - one stock one full blend
Hi Pete, cheers for the response, but I cant see the images, all i can see is a box with photo bucket on it.
check now!
So its not just the in/outlets that are opened up, it looks like there has been some material removed from the scroll walls too am i correct.
inlet, outlet, round the top bearing countershaft bearing, the casting marks at 6o'clock and just after and in the middle of the scroll too. (which isn't shown here)
On a Jabba R1 they remove material from internal walls of the outer casing too, very neatly as well:

Are you gunna have a do at a rebuild and port yours at the same time? ;) Do it! :D
I was thinking about it, But i still dont think i know enough about it. My next door neighbour has a milling machine in his garage which i may ask to use. But im still not sure.
If i do decide its the route i want to take what else would need to be upgraded to suit.
I think i would change my cambelt for a start, as i dont think its been done for a while just for peace of mind.
Cam maybe?
Chip/Remap
Head rebuild to eliminate my little tick.
injectors maybe?
Get my stage 2 frame on!
anything i may have missed.
