any reputable tuning shop.  Pretty much anywhere except ebay really :)

I like Autometer gauges (not to be confused with the similarly named AutoGauge/AutoGage brand which are Taiwanese cheapo copies).  Stack make nice ones too but they are very expensive (not value for money in my opinion, I reckon you are paying for the name there!).

Ironically the cheapest place I found for Autometer gauges was ebay Hayesey from yankee land. Much cheaper than over here.

I've got some smith ones for my oil temp and pressure they are a bit cheaper than autometer and again I got mine from ebay much cheaper than anywhere else!

Depends what gauges your after, mechanical, electric etc. Stack mechanical ones aren't expensive. The pro ones are good and pro stepper ones are ridiculous and i dont see the point of them at all.

Stack are good, as paul says expensive but i like the look of them more than anything. Stack themselves are dicks as well. If you get a slight problem with something say a rubber sleeve that connects the boost gauge pipe to the t-piece thats plumbed into the vacuum, and it splits they wont sell you one separately.

There is someone that does oil pressure and temp in same gauge, is it race tech or something?

Quotewhat wrong with eBay?

it's full of scammers and cheap knock-off copies of products.  Ebay themselves couldn't give a toss what is being sold on there as long as they get their cut.

What about SPA? Expensive, more than stack.

I've always got my Autometer gauges off U.S Ebay, particulary a few years back when it was nearly $2 to the pound  8) Go on Autometers website, they have a vast array of types!

http://www.autometer.com/ (http://www.autometer.com/)

Then its just a case of noting the model number and searching for that on U.S Ebay.

I got stung for import duty on my last one though, but still came in cheaper than U.K suppliers :)

What about VDO gauges, so they match the dash font ect. very OEM.

you can get new VDO boost gauges, but they're 0-3 bar and don't include any vacuum readings, there are some around though that are -1 to 1.5bar or something similar.

If you have a friend/ relative in the States get it sent to them then get them to repack minus any invoices, etc and get them to forward it marked as a gift, you're not liable for tax on it then. Obviously if it's a batch of lots of stuff then they'll know you're taking the piss but if it's just 3-4 gauges- none of which are a duplicate of another then you could argue it is a gift. On the other hand they may investigate it further and do you for fraud, lol.

Also, when retaining the supercharger it's a pain finding a suitable boost gauge without 'turbo' written on it. But then I wanted one to match the Audi VDO gauges (which have red filters in, apparently though green LEDs overcome them).

I have a set of the VDO gauges surplus to requirements, if you are interested Matt, same as in the link but in a nice wood panel :D This boost gauge http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Black-Faced-Turbo-Boost-Gauge-Bar-Waterproof-UV-Proof-/370604015423?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item5649b87f3f isn't a bad match to the VDO gauges, but is a bit cheap.
