Title: stupidest idea for a fuel saving device I've ever seen
Post by: hayesey on November 06, 2008, 11:15:14 AM
Just got a marketing email from Northern Tool about a new and exciting fuel saving device.

I was quite frankly amazed that someone is actually trying to sell this!  I mean, why not just put a brick under your accelerator pedal?  This just looks stupid and very dangerous, as if you're going to be able to press the release button in time if you need to accelerate out of something's way in a hurry.

this person really needs to start thinking back inside the box again!

Maybe keeping the car well serviced would be a better idea?

Unfortunatly there are People in the world that are very gullable and will
buy this device thinking it will save them dosh.
My mother is one of them as when a advert for the new improved washing
powder comes on telly you can garantee it will be under her sink within
a week. lol
It`s also why we get those little catalogues full of stupid crappy devices
that don`t work thru our doors.
