Title: mk1-3 coilovers, mk1 golf setup
Post by: youngprodigys on March 15, 2012, 07:35:37 PM
Right - I've finally got a set up for sale, need to start moving some cash around to help fund a few of these as i haven't got enough sets in the pipeline to supply demand:-(

This set comes in Black and the springs are 330ibs so quite stiff and are for really low setups.

come complete with the knuckles, brand new bearings, Hubs, Brand new CV joints, Brand new top mounts and the 14mm top caps.
Hubs are not shown installed in the photos. they are included, as are the CV's

Come supplied with mk2 golf castor bolts which do the same job but may restrict some castor movement if going really low. this is overcome by reducing the overall bolt diameter as it is a far wider bolt then the mk1 golf ones. i dont get supplied with them and they are expensive from the dealer.

Painted Jet Black

will lower in excess of 100mm

Collection only from Coventry as i dont want to post them really as they will get bashed up in transit.

How much are they?

I've not been on much recently, hence the questions;
Are you going to start selling sets? I'd be interested in all 4 (I've not PM'd you so you can't block me :D ) whenever you do, if the price and quality is good! For reference, I'm only looking to lower it a little so the arches sit on top of the tyre/ remove arch gap and still need to be able to go over all the bastard speedbumps that they seem to love so much in Shirley. I've no idea about spring rates and would they work with a PPP subframe?
