I'm selling a set of 3 uprated engine mounts.
I bought these about 3 years ago, but have never fitted them to a car, so they are new.
They are a harder compound than the stock mounts so will mean far less engine movement.

Bump
do you know the Shot rating of these mounts ?
if you mean durometer rating, these look the same as mine (from the group buy?), which are 70A iirc.
i wouldnt mind some 70A ones but there where a load of these black ones going about from a group buy which where also 50-55 is there a way to confirm the shore rating ?
Gofaster pinch did your engine mounts do the job as im considering using two poly ones and a nylon one at the rear as engine and tranmission movment is a real probelm when down shifing due to my paddle clutch ( i think )
Phil j could still have some left, his were .75
3 x £95
These are the same as what i got antony. Can you remember what they were like?
Yup i remember what yours where like james they where pretty much like standard thats why i thought they where 0.50-0.55 and phil j ones are 0.65 not 0.75
Pinches where did you get yours? These were from PSD, one of the last things Steve ever did before shutting up shop.
Was group buy iirc.
ye sorry a did mean to type .65 :S
i dont know how the stiffness (shore) rating works..
can anyone take a guess at what the Standard rubber mounts would be?
Phil's latest batch are now here (well he dropped some round to me this week, so assume they are) and are 0.7 shore rated, nice and stiff, they feel much stiffer than the ones I had that were the same as the PSD ones, which are close enough to standard.
Latest ones are black, his first batch were grey.
Will have to wait to see how they are, but are going on my daily, which will only be running around 140 bhp, so not much of a test. Have also got a set for the my mk2 when i build it.
Did you actually have the PSD ones?
now you mention it must have come from PSD as mine are black and the first batch of phils were grey.
i'm running 2 of them with a solid billet top gearbox mount gets essentially no movement at all. gear change vastly improved, but bit more noise inside the car

Sorry didnt see this was a for sale thread, just saw this discussion on ratings of the engine mounts.
Will keep further discussion out of here
Though I will say, any new engine mounts will be a vast improvement over the standard 20 year old ones :-)
