I don't think anyone actually does an off the shelf solution for G40s, but there was talk of a group buy not long ago for a similar one PSD used to sell.

check for a universal front mount intercooler on ebay, there are a few sizes arround 50£, check the size that fits better.

PPP did have some kits in that were similar to the old PSD ones, not sure if there are any left.

Otherwise, get hold of a universal one off ebay or go scrapyard hunting, lots of TDI cars have useful intercoolers on them.  But in either of these cases it's far from a "kit" you'll need to make the mounting parts and get it working yourself.

I wrote the dimensions of the space available, with a rough idea of inlet/ outlet areas (although they can be edited with new hoses) went to a scrappy that has parts on the shelf and just worked from one end to the other, noting down ones that would fit. Then I went home and looked up the flow rates, etc for them. This was for a mk2 golf so can't reccomend anything personally. I ended up with a HUGE Merc Sprinter/ Vito IC but noticed there was a little bit of lag. In fairness I hadn't driven a G40 for a while before/ after so not sure if that was the cause/ aided the lag in any way.

I found a universal one on eBay recently for £60 which looked great and was about the right dimensions to fit in the bumper - obviously you could go bigger if you want but a small - medium sized front mount would be the best option for a G-Lader. Try there first, then work out the pipework you need.

I used a vauxhall frontera td intercooler. 35 quid.
just make sure its off a 2.3 as the 2.8 ones are too large.
it does fit but you may have to trim the front bumper a little.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l2736&_nkw=550+x+140+x+65

550 x 140 x 65

seems to be a size that suits, on the german ebay this size is listed under "g40 & g60"

Its just slightly bigger than the 2WD corworth cooler on mine, 40mm taller and thinner
