Can you expand on this Dan? What did he do?
Built a ringer.
Hi,
I found out how much of an 'oops' it is yesterday on the club polo chat. However it will make an excellent project donor car for someone, i've just relisted it as completely as I can. Tom made a big mistake but i've loved driving it, I certainly could never have afforded its like otherwise, if any of you would like a look the link to my listing is here,

Any questions are welcome and will be answered honestly.

Sounds patronising, but fair play for being open and honest about things.
I wish someone had been more patronising to me when I bought the car. I had to google 'ringer' :-[
Experience with eBay taught me to always state the obvious!
I meant me sounding patronising for saying fair play for being honest - not your advert! It's a shame this car got messed with so much.
;D It would've been worth a fortune, then I never would have been able to afford to own it!
