hi all, basically i have had my g40 now for about 6 months now and only judt got it on the road, the engine has had alot of work done to it by the previous owner, the thing is he has done a pipe work which i have never seen on any other g40 and i cant seem to get my head around what advantage it has plus the car is only running 0.5 bar of boost. here is the pipe it runs from the back of the block on the breather onto the boost return on the supercharger.

should i keep it or get rid of it or any help as i have no idea why it would of been done.
looks like its instead of the boost return pipe, which is neater and means you dont get the woosh sound on lift off of the accelerator.
i still get a whoosh noise i was just making sure that it wouldnt ruin the supercharger or if im losing boost through that pipe
shouldnt lose boost no - just means oil vapour goes back into your charger. Essentially same as from factory, but less neat and noisier.
thats fine, thanks for your help. :D
