Title: Vw Classic Parts

Has anyone had a browse of the classic parts available for g40's? Just been looking on the german site and vw heritages site....

G40 Block with pistons....£2043
Engine/charger bracket....£219
lambda probe....£157
single injector....£125

those were just a few i noticed on the first page of 250!

I was just having a look around the second link there and ended up on a page where you can order your cars  "birth certificate" for 50 euros. Seems like a very very expensive PDI form to me! Anyone done it? Is it worth it? Or is it literally the same as you can get from going to your dealer and asking them to print off the info they have for it? (for free)

I got one a few years ago when I was over in Wolfsburg.

I think it's worth it, you get a signed certificate with all the info on it like this:
