Title: Front Fog light switch???
Post by: Dan:) on December 06, 2011, 07:10:45 PM
Was there a seperate switch for the front fogs or was it connected to the rear system?/
Only asking as I'm fitting fogs to my Polo.

The switch is two-stage.
1st stage - front fogs
2nd stage - rear fogs (& front fogs?)

Underneath the bonnet near the fusebox you will find a white 2-pin connector, usually clipped onto the engine bay-scuttle bulkhead. This is the feed for the front fogs - wire your fogs into here and you're good to go.

So is this white plug a low Amp rate to switch a relay or can it be connected direct to the front fogs?
Cheers Dunx

I'm sure it's straight to fogs, but I'd personally run a relay anyway

Thanks I'll make the loom up and fit them when the new ones arrive either today or tomorrow :)
