Can you put hubcentric spacers/adaptors on rear drum brakes or do you need to convert to discs??

Thanks is the only way to adapt the rear drums to 5 stud by changing the shoe's cover with a 5 stud mk3 version or would that be too large??

use a mk3 golf rear drum setup! its a common conversion for better rear brakes as there large and will come in the 5x100 you desire
