bought a g40 as a non runner not so long back,
the car is all back together now after replacing two pistons, having the head rebuilt and a fresh supercharger,
the car runs and sounds good but when i took it out for it`s first test drive the oil light started buzzing at me after about a mile,
now it`s flashing all the time, i put a new oil switch on from g.s.f just in case and it`s still happening,
has anyone on here got an idea of what it could be,
thanks in advance, Liam.
Something in the sump blocking the pickup?

hhmmm maybe? i did check it before it went back together and it looked clear,
the oil seems to be pumping round o.k, i undone the supercharger feed pipe slightly while it was running and it started pissing out,
the engine also sounds sweet as a nut, surely it would sound awfull if the oil wasn`t being pumped round properly?
You'd have thought so. Only other option is to get the oil pressure tested to see if it's a dodgy wire or sender.

yeah, but it stays the same when you switch the wires over aswell.
