Title: Coilovers - Brandnew, never fitted
Post by: DickyP on August 30, 2011, 01:46:27 PM
My breadvan project has unfortunately got to go, have been collecting parts along the way etc and refurbing as I have gone.

For sale here are the TA coilovers which have been powdercoated in JCB black and have new VW sourced bearings and VW sourced topmounts.  I would like to sell as a whole with the completely overhauled brakes, all new seals from VW and rubber boots, ptfe slip guides, bolts and bleed nipples.

VW Prices for parts
Bearings = 57.92for pair
Caliper kits = 18.39for pair
Caliper slip kits = 15.98for pair
Top mounts = 30pair
All plus VAT

Never fitted ever, completely new!!

£350

Rear Coils are FK Mk1 Golf, again never fitted and I have new top mount rubbers that will be supplied with them.

£100

Whole lot cheaper than eBay and come absolutely complete ready to fit.

What brakes are they? just the standard ones?
How much would you want for just the front coilovers without all the bearings, etc.

I'd take the rears complete, but already have new bearings, top mounts, etc myself for front. I also need new brakes but want to go 256 really.

you cant remove and reuse bearings, so theres no point in taking them out!

Bearings are installed already so will come with struts as you kill them when you push out and I'm not stripping down to get top mounts off as again I have no use either.  I would do coils with bearings, top mounts for £310, £400 with the FK's as well.

Brakes are from a none G, 1990 Carb so probably VW1??

I know you can't reuse bearings, I was on about the inserts. Just noticed it's a complete unit! Too far out my price range at the mo :(
