Title: G40 engine lifting bracket (cambelt end).
Post by: randombadger69 on July 26, 2011, 09:24:39 PM
Im after a G40 engine lifting bracket if anyone has one spare. It would appear to be different to the one on my MH engine (does not clear boost return port in rocker cover).

Do the g40 engines have a different bracket to other mk3 engines does anyone know?

Andy

Cheers,

I may have to gnaws one about with the grinder for now then. Or just use washers to space it out, so I can tighten the dipstick housing up.

The engines in, so it's not like i need to lift with it, just need to tighten the lifting bracket bolt before I do up the oil line banjo bolt.
