Title: Mocal oil pump
Post by: Jezza-7 on April 05, 2011, 01:55:19 PM
Does anyone run one with there standalone system?

It says that the pump is a cooling pump and a pressure of 50 psi, which would defeat the object of having a lower psi rating pump.

If you run one is it worth getting one?

what do you mean by cooling pump?  50psi seems unnecessarily high.  The seals in a g-lader can easily handle that pressure though.  It's more sudden drops and surges in pressure you get from the engine oil that have a bad effect on them.  And high temperature.

On th websites that sell them, in the description it says that the pump cools the oil ad well. Would it be better that a facet fuel pump?

I think the referance to a cooling fan is a fan to cool the pump itself. The pump will put oil to an aircooled matrix.
