Title: new gripper l.s.d. running in procedure.

as above does anyone know the best way to run in a new gripper l.s.d.

do they need running in at all.  ive had mixed feed back some people saying you do and some saying you can put them straight on the track. I want to be sure as they are expensive and i dont want to break it

I'm not aware of any running in procedure.  They do bed in and the preload will go down slightly (or maybe not so slightly as in my case and I had to rebuild it) but just normal driving...

I remeber when Reading up on plate diffs when trying to choose between plate and torsen diffsthat they can be run in by driving in a figure of 8 for a certain period of time. I'm sure if you phoned Dr gripper they would inform you if there was any run in procedure
