Post by: GAF2 on March 02, 2011, 08:26:53 PM
Orite guys, when changing to a smaller pulley i.e from 60mm to 58mm is a different chip/map required or can the ecu match the fuelling etc to the extra boost?

cheers

You'd need a re-map or a dedicated chip for that size of pulley. I don't think Jabba did anything below 65mm. Maybe G-werks.

Just a bit of a hijack, what do you do about a belt? Do you need to get a shorter belt for the smaller pulley?

Cheers

Yeah you need shorter belts the smaller you go.

If you are on standard v belt pulleys the standard belts are fine. I never had any problems when I ran them.

as sam said - normal v belts for v pullies but with a very small toothed pully set you need a smaller  belt
