Title: performance in-line fuel pump

hay all, im after a performance fuel pump dose anyone on what would be the best, or that is the spec os the standatd one??

What are you using at the moment, as from memory your car is a 6N?

thats correct, but i belive its a G40 pump

Well if it is a G40 pump, you shouldnt need to change it unless its kaput. Theyre good for 200bhp.

hmm well im hoping for over 200 thats why im after one buddy, spesh with the W1 conversion im doing soon

When I converted a mk2 golf I ran the standard pumps I think. It was a H-reg (but not 90 spec) 1.8 8v digifant. I did have loads of info on the PSD site but that's long gone so couldn't tell you anymore than that. I assume the 16v would be alright as it's a bit thirstier than the 8v but this is just an assumption

Would it pump anymore than a standard pump?
