Title: Intercooler inlet and outlet size to small ?!
Post by: dub-disaster on February 02, 2011, 04:07:50 PM
Got my self a new intercooler from scrappy as my old one didn't fit quite how I wanted, but the I let and outlets are quite small and very thick walled, the construction is all aluminuim Id of inlet and outlet is a tiny 38mm, od is 51mm  I'm thinking this is going to be too much of a restriction am I correct in thinking this ? Aiming for the 200bhp ish mark.
My other option is to buy a new cooler one from talley designs I've had my eye one as it's a good price and could fit where I want it but don't want to spend cash unessecarly.

Yeah that'll be restrictive Ant, 38mm really is too small.
