Title: throttle body - BRV plastic clip.
Post by: grungeisdead on January 20, 2011, 01:14:04 PM
Hey guys,

there is a black plastic piece that fits to the BRV linkage on the throttle body, ive snapped mine by accident. just wondering if it is absolutely vital? i have a spare TB i can rob the piece off, but i will have to get hold of a replacement when i can.

ill put a pic up when i get home, as i only noticed it this morning!

is it the bit which goes on the linkage arm to pull it closed? as i think that bit is a stop. might be needed!

yer im sure its a stop. have a look on your other throttle body. il have a look at mine tomorrow mate. i think it stops you closing the butterfly whilst on the idle switch.
