the oil pressure relief valve is part of the oil pump in the sump.  Best place for a pressure gauge take off is by using a t-piece with one of the oil pressure sensors in the head.  The thread size is m10x1mm.

Is the oil pump and release valve all one unit or can it be taken apart? Ie: could in fit a new release valve if mine were to be bugerd.

it's an integral part of half of the oil pump casing, you could in theory replace just that half of the casing (in fact I did this but I just happened to have a spare old oil pump knocking about).  I have a photo of it somewhere but I can't find it
