Title: Mk3 Polo Vibrating.
Post by: Malley on January 06, 2011, 07:39:15 PM
Its been awhile since my last post, so i'll try my best to explain the problem as well as i can :)

Right, down to business.

After being sat on my drive since august, ive finally got my polo on road, however, there is now a really bad vibrating noise coming from the front drivers wheel somewhere, ive had the car on a jack to see if i can see the problem, but theres no signs of rubbing or anything anywhere, so i was wondering whether its something to do with the tracking or something on the car?

Any and all help would be greatly appreciatted :)

Thanks In Advance To Anyone Who Helps :)

Mal.

I had thought about it being the wheel bearings, i shall pop into my local car shop tomorrow and buy some after i finish work. If that doesn't solve the problem any other ideas?

have you checked the wheel bolts?  Sounds daft but I've done it before!

Have you fixed this problem?

If it was sat for 6 months on the same tyres have you managed to flat spot them?

Could be worth getting them checked / balanced and see if it sorts the problem.
