Which Golf are they from and what size are they?
I was led to believe that the bigger exhaust valves were made to order special bimetal ones?
Care to fill us in Mr G40motorsport?
Thanks in advance.

The Jabba ones were not OEM golf valves. Run a magnet on them and they were bi-metallic.

Does anyone have the dimensions of the larger valves? I might be able to get some sourced and priced up.

I can get a set of the stainless ones that jabba used from "man in a shed" bug have to get a batch of about 10 to get a decent price on them. I'd take a set for future use any one else intrested?

man in shed just bought them from jabba when he did my head, does he know for definite that he can get some?  I think jabba/gs said they'd need a minimum order of 100 valves.

The jabba/gs ones are 31mm, the golf ones are 33mm.  Some BVHs have been done with golf valves but it leaves very little material between the valve seat and spark plug hole indeed and they are prone to cracking there at the best of times.

you can use certain golf ones, there 31mm in diameter, same length, 8mm stem but only have 1 groove collets so you need the matching collets, cheap aswell, i managed to get a set of 4 of ebay for about a fiver

Yes man in a shed can get some but he said you'd need to get a minium of 10 sets to get a reasonable price he told me the manufacturers name but I've fogttoen it now. If there's enough intrest I will enquire further, but when having my head ported I spoke to him about these valves and he said he can get some but needs a reasonable order to bring the price down and they take a couple months to be made up

a tiny bit shorter than polo valves and despite what i said earlier the ones shown here have 3 grove collets

these valves have been used in a polo head before, there was on forsale on club polo awhile back

in this topic does bi-metallic essentially mean sodium filled?
