Title: Clutch Question
Post by: Ratty Pete on November 27, 2010, 03:27:05 PM
Recently i had a problem getting gears when the engine is running so i removed the gear box to find the friction plate at fault! The pins holding the center splined bit to the main part of the friction plate have broken. i bought a clutch kit from gsf which turned out to be crap as its made from monkey metal and actually broke when fitting the gear box.....
So where do you guys recomend to get a decent clutch from? ideally something a little stronger than the stock item!!!!!
I'm sort of on a budget as well but understand you have to pay for quality!!
Any help will be much appreciated.

LUK ones should be fine. From GSF or Euro Car Parts etc...
