As this topic is started I have a question. That's if guys don't mind

If I were to fit a uprated high pressure fuel pump to the g40 where can I find one for it.

And would I need a to get a better fuel pressure regulator with that and if yeh which one and were from please

Remember if you're changing the regulator then you'll need a remap. If you don't remap you've upped the fuel pressure (and therefore flow) of each injector, given that the ECU will still open the injector for the same amount of time, more fuel will be injected.

3Bar FPR Is good enough for the older style Bosch injectors, 4 Bar does see slightly better atomisation, but unless you're chasing the last few bhp then it's not worth it.

Newer style injectors (bike ones and the smaller bosch) have much larger cones and atomise much better, next injector test I do I'll post some pics, but again, only good if you're making everything as efficient as possible and money isn't a problem.

Liam- before you spend £120 on a new pump, there's plenty of Bosch ones on e-Bay for 1/4 of the price, doesn't matter what they're off so long as they run the same configuration as the G40 (and have a flow rate which exceeds it), I paid £35 for a brand new pump for mine.

It's a Bosch 044, very popular fuel pump for high flow rates. Much more than a g40 needs really but it'll be ok.
