Swap deal???
Has anyone a has anyone got a slightly-knackered g40 that needs long term love applying, I'd consider getting rid of mine if I have another to look forward to doing up (to standard!). Even a g40 engine and GT body would be just as good.
I've had about 2 years with my rebuilt g40 on the front, medical problems are preventing me driving it again for a while, although a mesial-temporal-lobectomy is in planning to restore my normality.
She's in a proper g40 body, which took some effort to make look standard having wing-vents, massive arches and black-and-red spray job when it arrived (£30 off ebay). She has standard bbs's, proper standard interior etc. Even the original snatch-plate stereo.
She's been sprayed to a reasonable standard and the engine itself has been cleaned and had all new bearings and oil seals. She needs its post-spraying-touch-ups doing round the roof-rails, but basically looks ok and will be un-noticeable at 130mph. The charger though is un-touched so would probably appreciate an overhall. For the MOT she'll need new bottom arms at the front but I have used GT ones in the past with no problems. Maybe new brake pads too. The engine NEEDS RUNNING IN, so will be a slow drive home from Leicester if anyone goes for it.
I'm just fishing, but seems a good idea. If you offer a deal, I'll hapily talk-terms. As long as I get another to look forward to.

I'll dig a few out, I'm just putting a quad core in so if I'm not around for the next day you'll know somethings gone bang.!
