Title: main bearing cap bolts
Post by: dub-disaster on September 17, 2010, 09:19:45 AM
when rebuilding the bottom end do the main bearing cap bolts need replacing i assumed they do like the con rod bolts. ive got a pirate copy of etka and cant find them on there so im assuming they dont sell them sepratly.
Has any one bought some of these before and on the off chance still got the part number ?? Also the bush that goes in the small end of the con rod does that need replacing ?
     thanks

I think the bolts are N 102 638 01.

If there's no play in the gudgeon pins and bushes and you aren't removing the pistons you can leave them.
