Title: Gear oil

Replacing seal on gearbox and was wondering what grade of oil to use or recomend?

I've done this before on a GT and i cannot for the life of me remember the grade but i would just buy whatever VW use.  It will be the right stuff then.  Don't overfill it either.

75w90 i beleive haynes specs...

aye thats the stuff.  I got mine from GSF last time i did it and VW before that.  GSF used to stock the fuchs stuff but i am afraid that it might be carlube jazz from there now so i would just go to VW.

I was gonna get some millers oil. But i think i might just go vw.
