Title: Love for the G!
Post by: deevub on September 08, 2010, 05:35:45 PM
just to say how much pleasure this little car brings me!

every time i turn the keys it makes me smile & no matter what the problems of the day, they soon evaporate into nothing once i hear the whine of that charger.. is like car therapy!

fixed the heater resistor today, now have fan 3 whole selectable speeds!! pure luxury.

had mot, insurance & tax fall in the same month lol, that's the only bit i don't like but the rest? love it to bits :D

anyone else feeling the G-love today?

I love mine again today.  Oil pressure was reading low on the gauge.  Changed the sender and the gauge and pressures are fine so no major issue to be sorted just a knackered sender :-)

YEY!!

I love mine today cause I randomly check the oil level and today was almost empty but no light came on! I didn't wine or something, it never does! ;D

Hi all, i do love my g. Although looking at it at the mo...  you wouldn't know it!
Thought i'd register my presence as will be delving into forum archives for info in a bid to get it back on the road... Can't wait!

Sell it to someone who'll love it 100%. It deserves it.

I love mine so much that i may have to sell it already after a very brief love affair  :-(

Found out that i will be traveling to London regularly (from Leeds) over the next few months and the G40 is currently my only car.

Don't really want to pay for running two cars and the G40 is not entirely suitable for 500 mile road trips every other month maybe more.  Dads work have their own biofuel supply which i could also take advantage of if i had an oil burner.  Until now i have never really understood 'Needs must' :-(

Very very very sad times :-(

Get an Ebay diesel banger for cheap and swap the insurance over for when you need... Simples. ;D

You'll regret selling it. :(

Problem is i don't have the space to have two cars outside mine.  Also i know what would happen.  I'd come out in the morning and see the G40 and the sweaty diesel and just jump in the G40.

I really am in two minds.  I'd get the train to London but i will be carrying equipment with me around London and i'm not lugging that crap round on the tube lol.

Main thing i'm sad about is the short amount of time i have owned this car.  I just saw it, threw caution to the wind and bought it.
