Post by: johnfb55 on September 07, 2010, 08:02:06 PM
Hi,
Can anyone give me a bit of help as to how is the easiest way to fit a 4 branch manifold to a g40? do i need to remove the supercharger or how do i get the studs out as i have all the nuts off but it fouls on the securing bracket when i try to slide it off?  ??? Thanks John

Better hope it ain't like mine. I bought one of hottuning years ago, tried fitting it yesterday and it fouled the engine/charger bracket. It's wierd, because they listed it for a mk2 polo 86c, but it has the same flange as the g40 one with the holes for the bracing bracket, yet no way it was gonna fit without cutting off bits of the charger bracket.

I did have to remove the charger bracket to fit the manifold though.. and then discovered it was a fail :(

Yes mate just heard you have to cut that mount off to get it to fit. Not sure if that applies for all 4 branch or not?
