Hey there all, newbie here, just bought my first polo this last week, lovely little converted g40 ;D very happy to have a nippy lil motor again.. makes driving alot more fun !! Purchased off my good friend off here Mr.Batten, i know its got some history on here from what ive read already with phil & g-conversion by nick.. :P
Given the engine a little degrease & clean this morning, still not quite there yet but only had an hour earlier to spend on this sunny bank holiday, also had quick shampoo yesturday ;) few pics to follow in post...
So basically i'm new to g40's and tuning really so may need some advice & guideance to get me on my way, current spec as follows:
Engine: 1272cc G40, derestricted airbox and KnN panel filter, PSD Fulll blend charger/R1 Service and 65mm toothed pullies, chip, boost return removed, de wedged throttle body, GT inlet.
Suspension: HnR 60/40 cup kit, new G40 tcas with powerflex outter bushes, G-ladersite green arb mount blocks, and Front lower brace bar.
Brakes: G40 brakes, greenstuff pads, and grooved discs.
Wheels and Tyres: 14x6 BBS RA's with 185 50 yokos.
Exterior Styling: G40 grill, clear indicators, and side repeaters, late spec rear lights with german cluster.
Interior Styling: standard G40
Looking to improve on the performance even more so all suggestions welcome ;)
