Title: Wiring around coil
Post by: stu g4T on August 24, 2010, 09:51:35 PM
Does anyone know what the 2 wiring connectors are for around the coil area?
Obviously there is a 3 pin connector that connects to the coil. Green / Black / Brown wires.
What is the 3 pin wiring connector that mounts on the bracket next to the coil?

From what I can tell it simply connects the ECU into the wiring connector by the fuse box then enters the car.
I don't have the wiring inside the car at the moment so can't trace it back!

Any help greatly appreciated!

Cheers

Stu

the 3 pin connector next to the coil just joins the engine loom and headlight loom together, its 3 pin on 3F & PY engines and on AAU/AAV engines its a 2 pin plug not sure what the live is but the other is just and earth.
