Post by: Oily Fingers on August 14, 2010, 04:29:36 PM
Right, after sorting other crap out, i am now back on with the eaton build.

next set is to clean the inside and outside of the block.

I know you can get the blocks cleaned at certain places but i wont to save a bit of costege and do it at home.

Its got all leftover crap from when i had it bored out, its got the fine metal fillings and greasey stuff on the inside.

any help will be kool

a nice air line blow out to get rid of metal bits and then some wd40 with a nice piece of clean rag to get the goo off the bores.

Try and find a local firm with a ultrasonic bath or similar. They may drop it in during lunch for a drink.
