P.s The G seems to run ok on canadian V power 91 octane
Catch up with you all later
the polo is looking very nice there! was it the smallest car at the show? What do the canadians make of it?
If V Power is 91ron, what is normal fuel over there?
the polo looks wicked amoungst them monsters, i bet it get some looks and comments! and as for the Shelby GT500, i need one of those in my life, possibly that one in particular, it looks totally mint!
yes it was one of the smallest cars there, the others were a mk1 toyota mr2 supercharged which came stock with 148BHP and the other was a supercharged mazda mx5.
The G got quite a bit of attention, and the canadians could,nt understand why it was never sold here, they do have alot of passat g60 syncros, corrados and 16valve siroccos..
v power is 91 octane and the regular fuel is 87 octane, but i have found out that they mearsure it different here so i just add 5 points on to what it says on the pump ,and for every 1000 meters above sea level the car loses a point and we are 4000 above here...
did,nt realise how complicated fuel could be
ah ok, so it's probably about the same as normal unleaded over here.
looking very good
Yes its about the same as regular at home, there is another fuel supplier called husky and there fuel is slighty higher there highest is 93 octane but it has 15% ethanol in it and i dont know if it would harm the G,have you any ideas..??
Nice car that Jules. I see why you took it with you and bet your glad you
did.
It`ll probably blow quite a few of those inefficient heavy cars off as well.
Look forward to vw show pics.
Fred.
