The problem I have is that I have G40 on my drive, where it's been for two years now sorn, and I dont know which direction to go with it. It's a long term project I chip away at every now and then when i'm bored.
It looks standard and it's got real potential ie it's mint, i'm talking stone chips here. The question is...
Do i strip it out and track it? Keep it looking standard?
Very shortly a 1.5 turbo will be going in so i'm thinking why bother keeping it looking standard?
The G40 already has the advantage of being a sleeper, why change it?
I'd put my money into the machanicals and getting the bodywork mint.

It's difficult to keep motivated. The other option is to sell it and buy an e36 m3?

E30 m3 mate. dream car. G40 was already ticked that off my list!
If its standard looking and mint keep the engine standard and mint!

You know what I think you're right! I think the G will be broken and up for sale in the next few weeks, which is a real shame seeing as I just had the block freshly bored for the 1w crank and custom pistons.
I just dont think i can face rebuilding it, can't be bothered.
just sell it all as a job lot then instead of breaking it all up.
