Hi and welcome Henry,
Ahh, don't worry about it not being a G40. Mines a mk2 breadvan too!
If I'm totally honest I prefer the original headlamps but other than that I think it looks excellent. The arch work looks to be very nicely done from what I can see. It's good to see a full GT engine and box conversion too, they make for a pretty quick car with excellent reliability and economy.
Very nice car mate, thanks for putting the pics up.
Cheers,
Richard
I quite like the new front end but I can seethat it mite be a bit marmite, who did your arch work for you ? I realy like the engine cover it adds a nice litte touch :)
Cheers guys,
Yeah I agree the front end really is a love-or-hate kind of thing! When I first saw it I really wasn't sure, but now I love it!
The arches were done by Jago designs in Chichester. Stu who owns the place is a really nice guy and will give you a great deal and won't finish until it's perfect.
The gearbox is actually an 8p box with a longer 5th so it's a little nicer for motorway driving, but I've gotta adjust it at some point as I can't get 5th at the mo!
